nica unfug, flaneur2 - Celestial feat. EuroEyez

When worlds collide, a celestial being is born. ‘Celestial’ is nica unfug & flaneur2’s second single, which features their close friend and fellow SPR family member EuroEyez. nica unfug’s mesmerizing voice describes the feeling of safety and security, while EuroEyez’s ethereal autotune vocals portray the guardian angels that protect them… celestial beings, visible only to themselves and hidden from the rest of the world. While keeping the ruff soundscape of their debut single, ‘Celestial’ drowns hard-hitting gabber drums into a bed of noisy pads and lush vocals, creating the mystical atmosphere that embodies the productions and music video.

As a classically trained pianist and jazz singer, nica unfug moved to Hamburg in search of a musician who shared her enthusiasm for experimental electronic sound design. She quickly connected with the Hamburg producer flaneur2. Besides their musical preferences, the two also share a multicultural upbringing: Russian-Kazakh-German and Indian-German. This background is reflected in the themes of their songs and language. „Hübsch“ is the title of their first collaborative EP, which combines melancholic vocals, experimentally atmospheric synth sounds, and complex electronic beats.
